Now down to one cruizer (its been a while) for me.

My FJ40 now resides at the Brices123 household - at least it is close and went to a good home! Who knows, maybe a new project later down the line?

LCP > Murf > Brices123 - all the good stuff stays in the club!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Richard Lillard and his crew John and Travis for doing an amazing job replacing my original radiator that has miraculously survived 300k+ miles of use without leaking but on the verge of going out at any minute yesterday. Also replaced was a bad clutch fan with a factory Aisin replacement that they upgraded the original fluid with a heavier weight in anticipation for the hot AZ summers to come. Brand new hoses and repurposed original Toyota oem brass 80 series heater t’s thrown into the mix as well. If anyone in the Metro Phoenix/surrounding areas ever need help installing anything on their cruiser hit Richard and his crew up! Got tired of being dicked around by shops that charge just as much or more than the dealership only to receive subpar customer service and left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Added a switch to the dash for my Puma compressor. Been wanting to do this for a while. Graham had too many surprises when climbing around in the back and turned it on accidentally.

Added the switch and a solenoid to my electrical panel. Panel is getting crowded. I'll have to make it bigger on the next iteration.

Nice! Did the same on my 200 for my ARB compressor.

Finally finished my soft door restoration. Plus a sneak peek of the soft top color that is being made by @Julie2006 . Managed to restore all the factory plexi-glass. I took enough pics to post a full walk through of the restoration and door skinning process, ill eventually post it up there is any interest.

Perfect time for small projects.

Added dual outlets to the back of the center console. I had no always on 12v outlets inside the vehicle. These are within reach of the drivers seat, so I can easily unplug them. Thanks @BenCC for the great 3D printing you're doing. That's two items of his products that have come in handy for my truck.

This is the best installation on this product. Better than mine!

Last Sunday went out with co-workers. Couple RZRs, jeeps, and the little Samari impressed me with its ability! he just wished he had a more powerful engine for the open road. Maybe a 1.6 swap in his future?

Before I went wheeling I adjusted the kick down cable again. This time I took a good percentage of the slack out but does some play. The LC with the AC has good acceleration and without it is night and day. When I finally get around to putting lockers and 4.88s in it will be a lot better.

The last two weekends the wife and I have gotten out explored Arizona more then we have in the last 3 years. Last weekend we were at Lower Sycamore Creek and we were not comfortable as there were people with side x sides, quads with kids and no helmets, and just a mad frenzy of people going every direction. This weekend we went up the upper half of Sycamore. There were a lot fewer quads, side x sides, and motorcycles.

Didn't get many pictures of us wheeling but we did manage to get pictures of our sleepy Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois.

I think I need to tighten mine on the 80. It doesn’t kick down until I really bury the pedal

Installed a metal tech front bumper.

This was over the course of a couple weekends, but i added sound deadening and sound insulation to the front and rear doors and the rear panels. it is noticeable quieter at low and high speeds. i find myself driving much faster on the highway because the road noise sounds like i am driving 10-15 mph slower. i do hear a lot more wind noise now, like if i do something to the door weather stripping it will be even quieter. it was a pain in the ass, but it was a cheap noticeable improvement.

Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to Murphy at Riverview Toyota in Mesa AZ for hooking it up on a TB change! Not only did he hook it up on the price but the turnaround was quick and he even provided a Tundra as a loaner! Customer service was excellent and he was very personable. TB change was $499 parts and labor for cruiser guys. I added a couple other services which brought my total up a little bit.
