I used a piece of 4" donor pipe for the collector around the flange.

I may have a 4"----> 3" lower section in the materials bin. Then you only need the flange and some ⚒ time/dolly to fit and shape.

I think the hardest part of your plan is going to be the grommet for the antenna's coaxial cable.
Small hands will make it easier.

I welded more attachment tabs, replacing rusted mess.

I wasted lots of time struggling to disconnect the hard line from the clutch master cylinder. Even though I used a flare wrench the flare nut rounded off. I had to remove the brake MC and booster just to get vise-grips in there.
After I got the thing apart I used a file to make the flare nut into a respectable 3/8" hexagon.

got the aluminum panel back from the powder coater and did the final install. Used self locking titanium aircraft fasteners to help reduce weight so it will go faster.

Later drove it to meet its new stablemate that I bought the wife. 2016 4Runner Trail Premium.
