On my Jeep in the US I installed the orange ROTOPAX First Aid kit, but continued to use the NATO gas cans.
Here in the PI the plastic ROTOPAX will not last too long; the UV and intensity of the sun will degrade the plastic quickly.
I carry 2 OD green NATO cans when I need extra fuel.

Soft top installed with the best help around... my wife.

Some new parts.... the snap hardware is key when installing a new soft top.

Opened a box of fuel tank brackets.
Finished up some rust repairs.
Painted repairs with MasterSeriesT silver. anti rust paint
Installed primed and painted rear door hinges, bumper, etc.
Doors will be painted OEM 21M black at local shop.

Did front brake pads ! a 1 hour job took me 4 hours lol. The pads had not been changed for a while and so was a pain in the behind. She will be getting new shocks, tie rods and relay rods next

Long weekend because I'll been not to well, but that means I could replace both doors with new seals. Also made a start on the cage for the tray, will be 600mm inside dementions to house an engle 60L. Also orded new meats for the old girl as well. Birthday all around with new oil and genuine fuel and oil filters going in as well.

That is indeed the end game. My TDY is open-ended. It could be a couple months or a couple years.

I could take the truck south and visit it sporadically but I'd rather have it handy.

Improved visibility by removing old purple window tint. Replaced OEM wiper rubber with PIAA silicon refills P/N 94040 & 94043 that retain the factory blades.

Do you get snow where you are? If so, I think it might slide off the tin roof onto your costco tent and then get jammed between the two structures (probably working its way into the tent).
