One of the greatest country/pop crossover songs ever. Juice Newton. 1981. And yes, I also love her "Queen of Hearts" from the same record. But I guess there aren't too many of us old enough to know what the hell I'm talking about!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2022: Lionel Richie

Is there really a better singer/song writer?

I prolly posted this before, but just love it LOL:

Thanks Jamie, I remember the Glenn Campbell show from when I was a kid. He was an impressive guitarist. He even was with the Beach Boys for a time.

One of the most genuinely nice people I've ever known died Saturday morning. None of you knew him since he wasn't in our little TLC world but he most definitely was well known in my former world where people like him are almost never encountered and, in fact, are barely tolerated. I can only hope that a single person in that world might think as highly of me when the Reaper harvests my soul. Ride on, my friend.

I've been up to my neck in whiskey
I've been up to my neck in wine
I've been up to my neck in wishing
that this neck wasn't mine

I've said it here, and a few other folks have too, that AC/DC's Powerage album is the motherfucking ******* s*** that should be taught in schools.

This song really hit home for me. I am a fortunate man that I still have memories from my early days that play in my head like an old movie. I was a wild child in my youth and made it through some scrapes that could have easily gone bad. God I miss that guy :)

Anyone else remember this one. I've not heard it in easy 30 years
