My FJ45 just got a new paint job. Complete rebuild from the ground up. :)

If you know what these parts are for, let me know. Big thanks in advance.

The longer bracket in the forground (pic1) looks to be a brake line support usually used where the line goes from hard line to rubber tube. The line goes through the star shaped hole and has a little clip that holds it. I have one on my firewall where the brake line transitions from the firewall to the frame.

Thanks Awl_EQ :)

is the small one the holder for the fuel filter? I don't have my 45 at the house but going from memory.

Was looking at my firewall yesterday and the bracket I mentioned above is actually for the clutch slave cylinder from hard line to rubber.

I know for 100% certainty what the bracket on the left side of the top picture is for: it is located at the termination of the hard brake line at the rear of the truck, and it bolts to the inside of the right hand side chassis rail. It is the point at which the flexible brake line to the rear axle is attached to the hard line.

The other bracket is unfamiliar to me, so I think it must relate to a gasoline-engined truck, so the glass fuel bowl support suggested above might well be it, or it could be unique to pre-1979 trucks I suppose.

I agree that the bracket in the foreground is the one that holds the rear axle drop hose to the framerail.

The bracket in the backround looks like a partial section of the rail that goes over the top of the door from the cab to the windshield frame. The cutaway matches where the 'fold' would start for the insert [that the weatherstrip touches] would start.

Best
