Welcome!
I think it depends on what you want your Pig to do?
Are you looking for a restoration project? or a cool expedition rig? Something other?
This looks to be gently used, with maybe some things deleted... I see the new door panels, with no inside handles to pull the door closed? Why the hood hooks? Front bumper gone. How much else went missing in the project to paint or primer it?
If this Pig has lived in Scottsdale all its life, it is probably one of the most rust-free Pigs possible. However, since it does not have the original paint, it is hard to guess what lies beneath... The bottom of the rear quarters look odd, like some work has been doen there that no longer matches the factory line. So how much body work has been done?
But a running Pig for $2500? Why not?!?

It's not the straightest thing body wise. Especially on the driver's side. If you like to do body work, it will keep you busy. I'm with Pablo about what lies beneath that paint . It's also missing those elusive parts, side mirrors, larger reverse lights, and rear reflectors. Unlike you, I made an impulse buy on mine and paid way too much. If you want to somewhat restore it, then your buy in point needs to be low. I don't think it's worth more than $3,000.00 IMO.

It says reserve not met. Who knows how proud they are of it. It's mostly there but I don't see back window rubber. I would definitely go see it first. You can't buy a piggy from someone you don't know on sleezbay. Go poke around the usual rust spots.

The more I look at those quarters, I think I would move on...
The quarters are funky (and not "phunky").
Look down the driver side - nothing lines up - front fender fit is weird, rocker is not straight, doors do not line up.
I would not ride that price up any further, unless you are a good body man, and you know what secrets she is hiding under that paint...

These are wise words. That thing looks odd. If you really want to bid, you have to see it in person first. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you but you can't make that decision until you SEE it in real life. I have purchased one car on eBay and it was the single worst transaction I have ever made. Since then (I was 19) I have made a rule: never buy a car without seeing it with your own eyes.
