wet sanding to remove paint oxidation

That will need re painted.

The clear is dead from heat and exposed the base coat.

Not in this lifetime. Deal is, the paint and clearcoat bonded. However, the base didn't bond to the primer. You can't buff it, because the base color is no longer there. They need to get back to the mall, and count their cupholders, or somethin!

LOL I only got 3 but plan on adding many more...gotta go,make it to banana republic before it closes
 
Yeah, there's a thread in the 80 section right now where more than one person is telling this guy that this can be buffed out

It is possible to sand oxidation off (I don't recommend it to the inexperienced, but it can be done) but once the base coat is involved it's done. The best advice in the 80 section thread was sanding and re-clearing, but not in this case.
