Hey guys, I was at the Home Depot in Smyrna/Vinings last Saturday and someone left one of the GA Cruisers/IH8MUD cards on my window...was that any of you? It was left on a gray 200. I didn't even realize there was a GA Cruisers section in here, so thanks for leaving the card...nice to know you guys are here! Kind of cool to know there are others like me in the area. :)

That was @robustbambi. He works there and when he got home he told me about the 200 with the TLCA sticker on it. Come on out to a meeting (on April 7th) if you have time, we'd love to take a closer look at your truck!

Yep that was me! First I saw your 200, then saw the TLCA sticker and decided that thing was definitely worth leaving my last Ga Cruisers card on haha. And I'm really happy you were able to find us here on mud, @Skiime ! If you have any questions about the club OR how to effectively care for your new Zoysia lawn (I work in the Garden dept at HD haha) shoot me a PM, come on out to the meeting on the 7th, or head on back to the Vinings HD and ask for Patrick K.

Awesome truck!

5 days a week I'm normally I'm in the parking lot somewhere

Hope to chat sometime in the future!

Ha, that's awesome. I was definitely in the garden dept...looking for fescue though. I'm there a good bit, so I don't know how I missed your LC. I'll definitely look for it next time.
I'm hoping to get a lift on in the next few months, and always looking for people to ride with. I had a 4Runner with 3" lift, wench, etc. before this, so I plan on doing the same eventually...when I get the $$$. :) I've been kicking around the idea of building an FJ 40, so if any of you guys around here have one of those, let me know.

Your plans for the 200 sound great! @steenh is in GA and has been building a 200 over the last couple years and I'm sure he'd answer some questions if you have any, and as luck would have it he's also got a really nice 40. @CID 96 and @HENDOG also have some pretty badass 40s if you're looking to go that route! If you'd be looking to keep it stock and pretty, theres some of those as well!

Hope to see ya soon

Skimme, I know we traded some notes back before you bought your 200. Time to put some steel on that thing! :)

Happy to answer any questions you might have.

Yeah, I hear ya...In the planning stages now. Hopefully I'll at least have the lift on in the next month or two.

Hey guys. Another Home Depot guy here and novice offroad driver. Also have a new 200. Looking to take my two boys on some basic trail riding - nothing too rough. I looked on the Georgia offroad trails site but there aren't many good descriptions. Is there a good reference for these kinds of trails in GA? Many thanks!

The only wheeling in Ga. is Beasley Knob OHV and Durhamtown Offroad park out past Athens. Beyond that we ride AL and TN quite a bit.

That said, we have a work day/ride scheduled on June 6 for a private piece of property near Dawsonville where a lot of us have cut our teeth on, be on the lookout for a thread in the next day or two. You're more than welcome to join.
