Feels like it's got power to spare where as before it was milking it for all it's worth all the time
I may just keep my truck long enough to put a turbo in so that it convinces me to not sell it at all...

I'm looking for a turbo for mine, what is your out of and where did you get it?

Is that turbo spooling pretty quick? What boost are you running? How are the EGTs? There must be room for more fuel if you have not even touched it?

Currently no boost Control so it's opening early and topping out at 5psi and I can Make the egts rise to 1350...waiting on Amazon for that Control valve. turbo is spooling at idle, instant boost, which is what I was shooting for being a daily driver and all.
Realised the insurance expired on the flat deck last night so we hobbled a cone filter on for now while we wait for silicone elbows to pipe to the stock airbox.

Right on Lachlan; nice work. Graham beat me to it, but yeah, things will change a lot when you get the waste gate setup. Then you can really start tuning the boost/fuel.

Right on! pinched off the waste gate to see the upper limit. hit 20lbs easily at 1400F but at that point it was just hot air. gotta find that happy medium. but man what that ever a ride, 20lbs and this truck moved...so much power.
If you turn the fuel down you may not need a waste gate . My truck boosts to about 14 lbs max 10 most of the time . I can make it get to 1200 if I push it all the way up mt. Washington but it stays below 1150 most of the way up . I have no waste gate on my truck (wired shut) crack the nut on the pump and turn your flat head clockwise to turn it down .
