Gardens of Stone 1987
 
While the wife's out of town for the week I'm trying my hardest to put this 40 back together. the infamous "one week resto" that JohnnyC, Alaska60, and Duffontap make look so easy cant be real! After one coat of primer (brushed on master coat silver) I'm already bored to tears and having back pain. Haha

Don't know how I missed this one...When you get old there are two things that you lose. The 1st one is your memory and I can't remember what the 2nd one is!!

Have to get the uniforms ready for tomorrow's parade... It's like 7 miles... Albany NY.

New uniform for my boy who's growing and time to 'blouse' the sleeves

JohnnyC- I mean this from the bottom of my Jaded and disenchanted soul.. I am so proud of your son, and you for that matter. Good lord as my witness, it gives me hope...Sheep, wolves and sheep dogs...Just feels like there isn't enough "Canis lupus familiaris" to go around...If possible, please pass my congratulations and admiration on to your son. Semper Fidelis young Marine...
 
My daughter has two more ribbons than my son... She pushes just a bit harder lol. .. She has her color guard ribbon and PT ribbon... However it will probably be me carrying the guidon tomorrow :)

The HMYM's did very well... We were accompanied by 4 currently active marines... The female Marine is also one of our training officers

Here are some 'after' parade pics... Past ... Present ... And future marines :)

Day finished off with a 21 gun from the boys in blue renactors

Hey Jeff, et al...

We don't seem to be getting the interest we expected, in this thread...

I can't think of anything else we can do... Woody wanted to 'let the thread float normally'... but, it's not floating real well... I hate to see this thread die...

If anyone has any ideas, please speak up.

With all due respect, This is a 4x "wheeling" forum. I know for fact they're many veterans here. I know we like Toyota cruisers. This thread is sitting in the pit of said forum. They're great people in chat, but this IS chat. Just don't get down because a single thread here didn't take off like you thought.

Trying to start a huge "thread" in chat for this I don't see being the place. On the other hand let it ride and leave and let those that want to contribute.... well join in.

I come into the chit-chat for the stupid slap comedy that ensues.
