So I just realized that I made a dumb move. I was commenting on how my mats were sliding around, but I didn't realize that they had shipped the anchor hooks with them. I still had the box and went and looked thru the materials and low-and-behold I had totally missed the hooks in the bottom of the box. Anyway, My '91 didn't have the factory hooks, so after I installed the supplied, Weathertech hooks, the mats are very secure and haven't slid around. Much happier with them.

Wish I could say the same. I used the supplied hooks, after 'screwing' them into the factory carpet, & mine move every time I get in. Almost busted my ass today due to it!!!! I've gotta figure something else out.

Just saved mine from the trash. Used them and don't have high hopes. Probably going to see of there is an adhesive something out there maybe with some feet. Still like them over husky's that I've had in every other truck.

I've only used them for a few days and can't speak to the longevity of them, but my main complaint was that the mat would slide forward while I was driving due to pressure from my left foot pushing it around. Anyway, the hooks seem to lend just enough resistance to keep them from sliding. We'll see how long it lasts, but I can' figure another solution using those same hooks if needed. Maybe I'll figure a way to secure them more permanently to the floor or carpet.

Please post back if you find a good adhesive solution.. I've had WT's in a couple of other vehicles and they've been great. I'm sure that we'll collectively find a solution to make these a great solution for the 80's.

Does anyone have a picture of the black mats over tan interior? I'm interested to see if the contrast looks goofy.

After about 10 times of getting in my truck the hook ripped out of the carpet:mad:. So now is there nothing holding them in place I now have a decent size hole in my carpet. :bang::bang::bang:

These mats are just not the quality I expected for the price. It's not possible for them to stay in place with the little hook piece. Short of epoxy, I'm not sure there is a way to make them stay.

I hear ya! These are not of the same quality as the last 3 sets of WeatherTech Digiliners I've purchased. Never had a problem w/them in the past but these have been nothing but. I'm pissed I threw the box away or I'd be shipping these back for a refund.

I just saw that too. Is it just me, or did they get rid of the gray interior as a color option?!?!

Don't feel bad, you're not missing much, disappointing.

Not sure what everyone is wanting in a mat, but I think mine fit well and will serve their purpose just fine. Once I installed the hook, they've been pretty secure, but my LC is not a DD. I may not put as much strain on the hook as others.

Just wanting the same quality (ie. fit, material thickness, color, stay put) as the prior 3 sets I've purchased and happily used for years. Mine don't fit well, color is pretty off, material is super thin compared to my other ones and they won't stay put even with ghetto supplied hook.
