Weatherstrip soft top

Ok everyone, trying to find more parts for this 1983 FJ40 soft top! WOW this is way harder than I thought it was going to be..... I am now looking for weatherstrips for the doors below. I called everyone without much luck. I feel like I will have to custom make it, but I have no idea where to start. Anyone has any idea where to find replacement or how they dealt with this issue in the past? I had bought some ambulance door weatherstrips and I have them in some of the pictures for comparison.

Nope. The OEM will slot into a channel on the door, and is much smaller than that. It won’t have the plastic, “push pegs” in it like that does. That must be for hard doors, or ever. 60 series.

Oem is long gone… when I got mine 20+ years ago they were still in stock … however went to get a second set and they were no more

I was looking and it seems even the aftermarket canvas door weatherstripping is unavailable

Somebody may still have the reproduction… maybe cruiseroutfitters?
