I cut the SHIAT out my core support and folded it over to weld it

and I used 4x6 universal bump stops with a 2 in base cause they were cheap ... at first i only had a 1 1/2 and a half of up travel to the bump stops but after the AAl in the front I have more like 4in

I don't think I'll need to cut that much because my axle will move back not forward like yours.

how do you like those bumps? they look like over kill for me.

I'm still working on it every night/day. nothing really picture ready :grinpimp:

My triple sticks are done after 10 hours of working on them, the shifters sit between the seats. so I can just rest my hand on them to bump the 4wd,low,lower in and out with out having to strain reaching the stock shifter(yes I'm lazy and thats how I roll).

they work great ...they're over kill but they'll never fail :steer:

little bit of an update

a shot of where its been sitting for the last couple of weeks getting the drivetrain dialed in, so far its looking good just got to get the final fit and finish done...but she is a driver kinda...

today I worked on getting the rear spring perch pushed back 1.5"s. wheel base should be 111". still need to do a little triming in the rear.

good shackle angle, but I'm not done yet.

this is why I'm not done with the rear. I lifted the rear with a forklift and this what the rear spring does with a little articulation

and the gay poser shot

French that beotch into the frame so you can get some arch back in the springs (add-a-leaf or whatever) and keep the +0" lift.

I'll plate and sleave the shackle hanger in the rear to drop it down after I add the aal. it's alot more work to french the front hanger into the frame.

What are the specs on that rear axle? WMS to WMS? What's it out of? Narrowed? Spline count? 6-lug from factory?

What's it out of? Or is it custom built? Stock or custom axle shafts for the offset diff?

Thanks
Bob

It's custom semi-floating 35 spline (stock with simi's). AFAIK he got it 3rd hand. Most likley out of a Ford van.
