In case you didn't know, there still is such a thing as a mod i haven't done yet. And yes, i know i should of done this years ago... but i keep forgetting! Out of site and out of mind. So today Brent and i got together and did our diffs, t-case and tranny breathers. We lengthened them up to our engine bay instead of the crappy 12 " Toyota does (at least for the diffs).

Anyhoo.... another mod i can add to my list... and it was LONG over due!

Thanks for having me over this AM Brent, it was much cooler than our shop.

That is long overdue. I did mine recently and then blew the rear pinyon seal crossing the Mojave River. I'm questioning if the new length of breath hose negatively affected air movement and allowed it to fail or if it was bound to happen anyway. Any thoughts on if extending them that far could restrict air movement too much?

That's a very good question.. that i really don't know the answer too. Im assuming the pressure "may" be a tad higher since it takes longer to escape.. but i cant see that blowing a seal..

Nice pic Dave - obviously didn't see you take it!

Threw a code 26 this afternoon. Wonder if I knocked something finishing off the last portion. Glad we got it done tho!

Old camera bit the dust taking crappy purple pics. New one is on the way from Amazon.
