Front Runner $$$$$

Who makes this behind the front seats water tank?
You could maybe try searching. There’s like a googly thingie you can do, I’m told.

Totally forgot I made a thread on this. I fitted this water bladder to my 80 a few months back, but not with an electric pump yet. I surrounded it with bamboo wadding to protect it against damage and give it some thermal insulation:

Next step is to plumb it up with some hose and an electric pump, which is waiting in boxes in the garage. I'll get to it soonish.

Does anyone know what the usual cleaning procedure is for a bladder mounted like this? Do you store it packed with solution? Fermentation and sanitization make up most of what I do, that's why I'm curious.

There's some guidance in the manual, I'll have a look tomorrow. I do recall it said when you get it new to soak it with some bicarb of soda and water for a few hours and rinse well.

Pics of my Front Runner second row footwell tank. I have a sleeper/drawer system installed, but it left the second row footwell available to use.

I added a brass cutoff to the FR hose kit to ensure against leakage.

The front of the sleeper system has a flap that lifts up to provide access to what's below. The FR tank is low enough it leaves space for more storage on top of the tank, as well as a place to put a small inverter:

Got some details for that tank? Supplier etc
Sure:

Do they sell these anymore? Care to share a link? Thanks

Sorry, it was a niche product made here in Australia. Been out of production for over 20 years I figure. I was lucky to find one, and I didn't know they existed before I saw it. I've only seen one other for sale since, used on Facebook marketplace over here. There probably weren't more than a thousand of these ever produced, not much chance of finding one these days.

I forgot I never posted an update here. I got the water storage plumbed in awhile back. Hooked up to a 12v pump fitted into my swingout tyre carrier. Can spray around 5m on jet, plenty of pressure for what I use it for. I used some marine ply sheets cut to fit against the metal body, to stop the water bladder pushing out the rear panel. There's a filler neck tucked away in there, so I can just hookup to the hose to refill.

The footwell Front Runner tank I posted up on the last page has been retired. I totaled that 80 last fall. The good news ius that despite everything shifted a bit forward, the tank didn't leak a bit...

This led to purchase of an LX 450 as a replacement vehicle. The wife gifted me the larger Front Runner 67L tank for last Xmas, and I rebuilt the sleeper/drawer conversion so everything ended up level with its top, gaining a couple of inches over the previous system underneath. This pic shows it all secured before I carpeted it over.

When I finished in the pic above, you can see a small carpeted flap at the end of the tank, which doesn't go the full width of the truck. When needed, it can be flipped open and one of the Front Runner/Dometic jugs can travel in there. A similar spot is at the opposite end behind the passenger seat, bringing the water total to ~25 gallons. Here's pic under construction that illustrates this.

This location for the tank also allows relatively easy access to the fuel pump/gauge assembly port without nmeeding to opull the rest of the conversion.
