Do you find with the weight of the winch that the bar vibrates any more on corrugated tracks? I'm concerned because the deluxe bar has the winch cradle built on the front of the bumper (like the 80 Series bars) and is not attached directly to the frame, like on the TJMs or even some of the standard ARB bars for the 100 Series.
Thanks,

Did the ARB Deluxe bar change at some point? I have the Deluxe bar on my 01 and it has the winch mount on a separate piece that is mounted directly to the frame. Then the bumper bolts to the winch frame. It sounds like yours is different than mine. Maybe because of the difference in years? Is this also when they added those cutouts for the fog-lights like on the Sahara bars?
In this pic, you can see where the winch mounts on the "sub-frame" and then the bumper bolts to that piece.

Yeah, yours looks stronger, but they changed the design for the `03+ Deluxe bar (not exactly sure why, as I like your winch-mount better).
dclee said:Also, the `03+ does have the cut-outs for the foglamps (which are very cool!).

Thanks again for the help of this forum
Sorry to bring this back from the past, but I'm about to install a winch on the same TJM bull bar and was wondering how easy/difficult it is to access the clutch lever? Do you TJM owners just remove the top plastic cover permanently?
I access the winch lever from the top gap. Also if I were doing it again I would reinforce the POS TJM plate that supports (bad word choice...) the fairlead. Take a look at it and you will see what I mean. One good off-angle pull and it bends easily.
