That's pretty slick!

Since I'm a - kinda guy I would never be able to make anything from a scratch. So when the time comes I'll have to look into this!

Mot

I like that mesh barrier you have, where did you get it? seems like it would be nice to have to keep the dog in the back, etc and can be taken down and stored easily.

It looks like the rangler net for a land rover that I have in my LX. Supposedly they make one for an 80 but I think they just rebadged an LR net because it fits really well.

I bought mine from crutchfield for about half of what they usually go for. I think they are about $150 usually.

It's really convenient and you can even move it to behind the drivers seat if you have the second row folded down.

Someone from CO did a write up on these a while ago.

Edit: I've even mounted mounted one side behind the passenger seat and the other side behind the DS second row because I needed to be able to recline the drivers seat.

The drawers look great. Thanks for the write up.

What are the interior dimensions of the drawers?

Mine are 38" x 16 3/4" x 6 1/2" deep.

The other thing I like is that I can pull one out in under 10 minutes if I want to put a 3rd seat back in. Once you unscrew the top it's just 4 bolts and the entire subframe / drawer assembly comes out.

I can do any hight drawer that is just where it works out to for matching the hight of the folded second row seat. Some people may not need to use the drawer system and seats for sleeping.
