been searching some time for a PAIR of '72-78 BLACK (or gray) headrests and guides. Posts need to be 4.5" apart C2C & I could use the seat guides as well. see diagram from SOR for the parts I need.

Are you sure?

I don't recall ever seening black ones. My '78 seats are very nearly black, but the headrests are gray, and both are stock, AFAIK.

The SOR page where you got your diagram only shows one part number for '73-'78:

Look down by her thighs, then try to force yourself to focus just a bit closer.

Here's another pic of a truck just like mine. You can see that the headrests are a different color, like mine.

I have a set of black leather headrests, that will work and look good, they are from my old 2002 montero that was totalled, not cruiser stockies but they are beautiful.
