1. Even the slightest incorrectly tensioned belt will squeal...isolate and eliminate...if air pump, fix it...easy. This doesn't warrant a new truck.
2. Check the mounts before you blow a wad on a new muff...can just be rubber isolators...if not...muffler is not a killer cost, still doesn't warrant a new truck
3. Call Slee...tell him you have a 91/92 and need the extra arm for his sliders to fit....problem solved.
4. a 97 won't fix this problem, pretty common.
5. Pull your drain plug and leave it out so no water pools or just fix the leak...
EVERY truck has its annoying maintenance items...no reason to put it out to pasture.
