Hmm woah. You retrofitted seat heaters? I’m looking to do that on my Gulf 80. Could you share the part numbers / links to the products you bought? Leather + cold = bad combo where I am now …

Leather is from LCH
Switch part#s are in post #147.

Thanks. Reading their webpage, they seem to suggest the heating pads are only for use with their covers... I guess since you bought their leather you wouldn't have an opinion otherwise, but I wonder if they can be finangled to fit into the OEM cushions somehow? You took apart your seats, right, any chance you have a thought on that?

Oh yeah, they just use universal heating element kits like the ones you can find on Amazon. You can definitely peel the OEM leather off and install these heaters.

Cool. Uh, when you say “peel off”, does it go back on after? :)
lol yeah, you'll have to cut the hog rings to get it off and then put new ones in to fasten the leather back to the seat.
There are a couple leather replacement threads on here that are useful.

Went to change out the EBC brake pads I had in the front and found that a couple pistons on each of the calipers were seized. It still felt fine and braked fine, was just wearing the pads weird. Got new calipers in and OEM pads because they were in stock. I could not wait for EBC pads as they would have arrived after I leave for Moab this week.

Then, I made a little platform for the fridge and some packouts. I used particle board because it's cheap and a temporary solution.

Question - I bought the Honda nozzles, put them on, but I get just a little trickle out of them. Tried blowing with my mouth and can’t get air to go. Is it possible they need much more pressure than the OEM pump is providing?

Hmm, it’s possible your pump is just tired. I just hooked mine up and they work great.

Sorry if I missed this but I didn't read all ten pages but who is the maker of the alum radiator in the beginning of this thread?

gotcha, so it's probably a 2 core alum radiator that you see for $250 ish on eBay.

Hmm. Super odd. It’s brand new though - that was one of the myriad parts I replaced. I wonder if there are multiple versions of the pump, like a weaker and a stronger one?

Any chance you could try blowing through the nozzles see if you can do it with your mouth? I’m just curious if mine are both somehow defective.

I like the three nozzle versions out of a scion. 8538142070

Is it three nozzle or mist? I can try this next I guess since the Honda ones are probably just fine and my pump is probably weird.
Check your diverter valve (drivers side near the brake booster). Mine was swollen and coming apart. When I activated the nozzles, I had dribbling coming out. I couldn't figure out what was wrong and was about to replace the pump when I saw leaking from the diverter valve.
