VTcruiser60's Spring Build--Much to do...

Thanks to everyone on the board for their input, assistance, praise and criticism during this build up. This was my first build, though I have dismantled many parts and at least one FJ60. I learned a lot, especially about what I still don't know and understand. Its hard to tell from the blurry pic, but in my first (unnecessary) water crossing this past weekend, I have a huge grin on my face.

I am closing out the thread now...noting that the truck is running (generally), is safer (much), is finished (kinda), and fully entertaining still (completely).

Don't do that. Didn't they tell you it's never done?

Good job though and an enjoyable thread.

Now bring it to Rubithon and do some wheeling!

Not so much time in the shop on the cruiser...but did fab up a sweet pig spit for a bbcue this past weekend....

Damn, how many HP is the electric motor on that Pig roaster, cost you more in power than what an already cooked pig would cost!

Whens the barbie:cheers:

don't close the thread............

have'nt you learned by now that a cruiser is never "finished"?!

Nah it's totally done. Aside from the HEI, Power Steering, paint........

Inspection tomorrow....:)

Completed the rattle can paint job, installed a hard top, rebuilt swing out tail gate, redid lights, installed a scout power steering set up, installed 1.5 inch DOM tie rod and drag links, reamed arms for FJ80 TRE.........

But it doesn't end....I am working on getting a bulb for the head light switch....that cool little fiber optic cable in the switch intrigues me...I'd like to see that lit up.

Anyway...inspection is looking good.
