After getting a quote for LT on 35's I would seriously consider SAS as a viable and equally affordable alternative. At the rate I am stacking miles on mine I will be out of warranty in another year or so, it might be something worth considering should I decide to keep it.

I’ve already put 28k on mine in ten months. Trying to convince my wife that having a 60/80 series would be a good thing.

As for the discussion at hand, the 10-13 trail series 4runner oem “flares” are the only ones that look decent IMO.

We've owned both a 60 and an 80, key word being "owned". The looks and nostalgia are more intoxicating than actually owning one lol. Just my opinion, but if it isn't a fun third or fourth vehicle or a trailer queen I'd pass and even then there are better options for those uses IMHO.

Me too. Sold my 80 for the GX

Yeah it would be a weekend cruiser that I’d drive to work every so often.

Wow! I really like that your combining both the table and MOLLE into one component!
Great idea!!
I know you're probably still banging it out (literally) but do you have a price range you're look at for it? My birthday is coming up next month, maybe I can get my wife to look at it!!

sorry, don’t have that information yet. Hopefully by the end of the month. This is the first working prototype at this point.

That Blitz is interesting. I am undecided whether to get a winch on the GX, I have had one on the FJ and previous rigs for 10 years and never really used it, other than to drag the boat lift out of the lake at the cabin. But I definitely am interested in improving approach angle. And aluminum would be great both for weight and corrosion resistance.

We are leaning towards the blitz will only be available in aluminum. It’s too heavy as a steel option, might as well go with a full bumper at that point.

Here is the 1st prototype of the rear bumper. Looks a little goofy without the cut upper plastic, but it’s coming along.

Is there any way to make those side wings higher or angled for better clearance, break over and departure?

Not while retaining the ability for the carriers to be modular.

Departure isn’t worse than stock, so it’s going to be an improvement. Break over angle is related to the vehicle’s clearance at its belly, so unrelated to the rear bumper.

Bummer, I wish more bumpers were high clearance.

I have another request... HURRY UP! I need this bumper on my Lexus.... like now!
