Quick update! Took the gamble and did the full timing belt service and I am so happy to report there is NO ENGINE DAMAGE!

No surprise.

On the downside, they did find a whole bunch of other crap that needs to be addressed in order to pass inspection so its still going to be an $8K bill

Give us the breakdown on what work they are actually performing.
