If you saw my tubes I can best as well as you do .. :frown:

When the roll cage be finally done, start the soft top .. but I gonna place some paralels tubes on the middle ..

Are you using a muffler bender for your cage? I would be seriously concerned the structural integrity of that cage with the bends being caved in like they are.

Yap LT I have no option here .. muffler bender or not bending nothing :frown:

You thought the integrity of tubes are in serius compromise with those bends ?

You are actually putting a dimple into the tubing which makes it seriously weaker. If you take a look at a piece of tubing bent in mandrel bender the dimple where it went around the die is barely noticeable.

Now this weekend i've heard plans to make and complete a trackbar, rebuild a transfer case, finish the cage, wheel wells, put a seat in and blah blah blah, Have fun boys I'll bring over some ice tea.

If anyone lives close they may be in some need for an extra hand.

Thanks hun,

Theres a ton of work left to do but its a start. Got about 100ft of tubing yet to throw on, need to get the canvas top finished, finish the wheel wells, throw in the hyrdo steer, tube the back tale gate, install some flip down seats for the rear(40 style), strap for the fuel cell, track bar, paint, and a bunch of other odd ends...

Oh and we leave for the 1400 mile trip to Tellico next Friday....

lookin good al...lookin real good

Looking awesome, nice job on the pans. I cant wait to see it wheelin!

Thanks, Jer helped me a huge amount on that. I just did a ass load of welding for it.

Its slowly getting there...Pics this weekend of the progress.

WHOA! That is the most radical looking FJ that I've ever seen. How does it drive with the huge air gap in the rear?

Are you going to go with a full exo cage in the near future?

Thanks man, I was planning on getting it full exo'ed before we go in 2 weeks but there is so many other things to do I doubt it will get done. But for sure the rear cage will get done.
