Well we got it started and it purred like a kitten and was surprisingly quiet. Should have it in the stable next week!

Did you have to manipulate the interior to accommodate the 700R4?

Could you have installed a lift that was smaller in height?

No manipulation for the 700R4 other than a new crossmember. 4" lift is require. The 4BT is a very tall motor. You need the lift to clear the oil pan on the axle.

For the veggie system I will have Matt at www.bpcenters.com build me a custom tank and use the best components from a few of the different kit makers primarily Plantdrive.

Its running, charging, and moving under its own power. We take her on its maiden voyage tomorrow. I have video of it running, but here are the latest pics of it.

Glad to see it got done. You mention it's quite? Wouldn't it be the same sound roughly as the other truck in the shop or just never heard one run before?

Way smoother idiling motor..We could actually have a conversation with the hood open...No rattles or clanging just plain healthy sounding.

Good to know. Scotty, let me know what you and Matt found out about those motors....I think we may still do the 80 as the fj might be a pain with only two doors and less cargo.

Veggie, When you come down to Boulder again hit me up. I would love a ride in that bad boy. I'll buy lunch and drinks.

We got the gauge pod from Summit.
