I just found this thread.Pretty amazing stuff.I too am looking forward to seeing some pics.It sounds like your initial test drive turned into more of an adventure than you were looking for.I sure hope you plan to get that 60 back on the road.
I guess it could be pretty easy to just cry in your beer and see nothing but doom and gloom in a situation like that but it took balls to post on here saying what happened and seek advice and help.I hope Mud and local cruiser guys didn't let you down.
Now post some pics ......and maybe look into buying some sort of depth guage before your next river crossing.
