For sale is our 2003 Lexus LX 470. I am the 3rd owner, and have all service records. Truck has 298,000 KMs (185,000 Miles) on it.

Truck is totally solid, and all major mechanical systems are in perfect running shape. Regularly cared for by me and my local mechanic. Not taken off road other than the occasional gravel road when camping. My wife is the principal driver.

The vehicle has spent its entire life in Vancouver, Canada. The climate is mild, not much snow which means not much road salt. The integrity of the underside of the vehicle is not impacted by rust.

Some additional notes:
  • Hardwired for mobile devices to play audio through the stereo
  • Comes with the Toyota Techstream software and ODBII connector
  • Navigation was updated in 2007
  • Moonroof works perfectly, no leaks.
Asking Price: $12,500 USD

More info and pics:
Key Work done:
  • New brakes and rotors in 2018
  • Ignition cam replaced in 2019 with new, reinforced part
  • ABS Motor / Pump replaced in 2016
  • Oxygen sensors replaced in 2017
  • Timing belt and fuel pump replaced at 155k KMs
  • New headlights and front bumper from a minor accident (still have old lights).
Things to note:
  • Surface rust forming around back hatch window
  • Slight warp in passenger side running board
  • Passenger side fog light casing lets moisture in
  • Subwoofer foam may need replacing (sounds fine if you keep the bass at mid-point)
  • VGRS system causes the steering wheel to slowly creep over time
    • Can be readjusted by the Techstream software
  • Catalytic converter engine code is thrown from time to time
    • Can be cleared by the Techstream software
  • Brakes are a bit spongy. Can’t figure out if it’s air in the lines or if the Brake Booster Accumulator is starting to go. No strange sounds or error codes being thrown. All tests return acceptable results.
  • A/C has a pinhole leak in the rear lines. Needs a recharge.
  • Tires are at about 30-40%
  • When connecting our trailer to the truck, a fuse sometimes blows. I believe it’s a short in my trailer but haven’t been able to pinpoint it.
