I’ve got that minus the extra appendage... got another layin around? ;)

That intake manifold vacuum union came on the '86 2F in my rig. The part number is 90404-51038, but I believe they are disco here in the states. However, I'm sure there are plenty of them on parts rigs.

Yeah... I found the part# and no dice - not even from China! :grinpimp:

I have concluded that the 90404-51038 only was installed on a 2F engine with Factory A/C ,

this would include any FJ40 as well , but mostly FJ60's

one of these is off a 1981 , the other a 1982 both FJ40's Without A/C and only the Booster Fitting big one

i have a 10/85 FJ60 in my shop right now , it has the 90404-51038 , it also , Has factory A/C

The small Arm or small Vacuum Port is used to Supply ported vacuum to the A/C Idle Up VSV that then goes to the Dash

Pot or Actuator on the Carburetor

If I can find a mini vacuum gauge, I'm going to install this one-armed saguaro cactus looking union into the manifold. This is the union for the brake's master cylinder vacuum location, then I'd run a vacuum line off the small appendage to the mini vacuum gauge. Being this union is on the manifold behind the carb, the added vacuum line shouldn't be too noticeable.

Rick, do you have the part number for this? I found part number 90404-51007 for tandem booster at Toyotapartsdeal but not convinced this is the one you have.
Oh wait, is it 90404-51038, referenced by ToyotaMatt above?

I do believe that is the part number, per the '86 2F I bought, it did have AC. Being I had that 2F rebuilt for my FJ40, I had the part in my stash....lucky me.

Yah, it would make a great Xmas gift to a good little Mud member. ;)
