I came upon a USMC Trailer 614M-65 and would like to know more about this cargo trailer. Manufacturer is Stevens MFG Co. Manufactured in 1965. Is this a rare cargo trailer and if anybody would know it's value.
Any knowledge would be much appreciated.

Yeah, it's an M416 built in 65. Someone must have had a laugh when stamping that model number onto the data plate. I have one. They're not all that rare, but it can be difficult to find them in good condition. They'll go anywhere from $500 to $1500. The value is what somebody wants to pay.

Not sure if rolodex is still on the forum or if he got this trailer, but thought I would add my two cents in case someone else is interested in one of these.

Benefits
- Solid and heavy duty
- Indestructible
- Make great off-road trailers
- Can carry a heavy payload

Drawbacks
- Usually are pretty rusty
- HEAVY!!!!
- Hard to find parts for if repairs are needed
- No very big bed size (but this might be a benefit as well)

I agree with "spotcruiser" above... I have seen them from $500-$1500. I occasionally seen the for $200-$300 as well. I personally wouldn’t pay much more than $500 for one because of the drawbacks listed above.

Just my two cents :)

Here is a whole thread dedicated to military trailers
