yeah wasn't till I looked closer at the pic that I realized that couldn't be it.

I was less lazy I'd email him to see if he had a picture of the actual truck...


EDIT...I was going to email him, just for s***s n giggles, but the ad is down. Oh well. :meh:

yeah it disappeared pretty quickly.

Was one of those two wheeled gyroscopic nerd dolly things. Segways I think they're called.

Only it had knobby tires and a gps mount ...


The kicker and only reason I posted it really, was that the item location was somewhere in the woods outside of Oulu Finland.

Think I saw a movie where Nazi Zombies were hiding in an ice cave near there.

This one is getting a bit dated, and when I noticed that he had linked to my website I put up a bit of information... website is being re-done so the link has changed, but if you scroll down on my page you will see what I wrote in response to this guy's ad trying to make his Prado sound like an HZJ7*:

I laughed hard when he made it sound like his Prado is equal to an HD 70 series in value.

Out of curiosity I did check his Prado out yesterday though. Body and interior are in great shape. He had the engine partially dissasembled, and it has sat like that for a long time. Bottom end had some rust in the cylinder bores now and will likely need a rebuild (rings and hone at a minimum).

I think he's ready to let it go pretty cheap though. This vehicle is a perfect engine swap candidate. 1uzfe perhaps? :D I would if I had the time.

Yeah, you could probably drop a 22re in there for practically free and have a half decent truck.

Downside is spark plugs of course, tho probably not much worse mileage. :meh:

Yeah I do like the old airstreams. Too bad they didn't make any that were a touch smaller. Guy down the road from me has one that looks to be about 17' long. Seriously cool, tho I bet it has a 20k price tag.

Pretty happy with my little Boler at the moment. Towed to the states and back behind the mighty CRV, hardly knew it was there.

Added Bonus, with no towing mirrors, I can't even tell that there's a line of pissed off people behind me wanting to pass the slow ass mf'er towing the hippy trailer...:hillbilly:

The KZs certainly cost a lot more in Japan, but they are still not worth it.

Head cracking issues still exist but to a lesser degree, and just try to get the injection pump fixed if it goes south...

Save your pennies and get a different model folks.
