This thread is very long but I like to read in full before I ask a question that has been answered already. I have just imported a 1996 HDJ81 VX limited with 100K kilometers for my wife's Christmas present. She wants to set it up for overlanding and this alternator mod would be handy for all the lights and accessories we will put on the rig. Does anyone know if the kit from delta, its instructions, and the 130 or 150 amp alternator will fit in an HDJ81 right hand drive?

I've got a '93 RHD VX Limited and while I haven't looked closely, I don't recall seeing anything that would preclude you from running the big alternator. I'll be finding out first hand in a few months when I try it myself.
