What trail tailor spring are you running, how much lift does it provide ?
It’s pretty much the same as what gwnugget has but the spring rates slightly different. It’s pretty spot at 2” of lift. I’m running it with a 1” spacer now

It’s been a couple years so I’ll give an update. I’ve wheeled it all over montana, done moab twice, done a little bit of sand hollow once, and driven across the country multiple times. Thus far, I’ve hit them… a lot. But I’ve really only gotten stuck (enough to be annoyed with them) really only once.. it was a big big boulder. Honestly, I’ve been super happy with these. If you have a 2” lift, I implore that you get them. It doesn’t really dive, doesn’t really lean, and flexes well. For reference, I’m running a 25” long custom trail tailor spring, run a 4” lift dobinsons shock, and I cut the frame side shock tower and move the mount 2.5” down to get some extra down travel.

man, time flies! remind me, are you on the prototypes (round bottom) or the production parts (flat bottom)?

anyone have photos of how far the tire sits forward in the wheel well with 315’s on a 2-2.5” lift? Is it visually noticeable? Does the forward spacing affect scrub clearance with a low offset wheel?

I mean, I do. ;)

Let me wrap up a call and then I’ll post some.

"a little trim for tire clearance with the RAMs. :)"

Does that mean I'll need to trim with 315s, 2", stock bumper, stock rims?

The front bumper plastic? I would. The factory profile is cludgy.

That said, we’re on -12 ET IIRC.

Eimkeith RAM, 2.5 Dobinsons, 315s on OEM, Slee ShortBus front bumper.
The RAM from Eimkeith are a total game changer for me.

EIMKEITH RAM burned in. I’ve had this truck for 5 years now and did not have any sort of caster correction…… damn it’s amazing how well it handles now. No longer chases the crown of the road and eliminated weird driveline vibrations under load. WIN!

A the end of the day this is the best caster correction out there for a small lift hands down!! Especially if your not rock crawling.
Yes better then the custom arms as it gets you closer to OEM geometry.
I'm surprised more people don't use this.
I do think the bottom part of the bend just behind the bolt hole was ment to be welded ;)

I also have a set that I need to install/burn in. But I do have caster correction plates, so it will be interesting to see how it handles afterwards.

I don’t think you need both.
@jkeithw either 315’s looks to still be a benefit for approach angle?

Hey, I'm literally just back in from the first camping opportunity we've had in months, and since getting myself back together after the hurricane & passing of my Dad in late '24, just in time to see the new posts on this thread. Thank you, guys - I was somewhat recharged after getting back out there this weekend, but even more so after these comments. I'm glad the RAMs are working out for you.

As to the 315s approach angle, if I understand the question correctly, anything you can do to put the tire closer to the front of the truck is beneficial, IMO - especially if you run an ARB bumper as Julia does (it sticks way out there).

For my '96, I'll be running 37s and a very svelte front bumper, so I'm hoping for even more approach angle advantages with the 1" forward relocation.

(Did I interpret the question correctly?)

And for Scott: the effects are cumulative - you'll get 3.45 degrees of correction in addition to whatever the other corrective modifications net you. In my case, I'm pairing the RAMs with offset trunnion bearings (for a Slinky suspension), whereas we run just the RAMs by themselves on Julia's 80 (2" Dobinson kit up front).
