I had the same exact deal with my rear drums, when i would get on the brakes really hard one of the rears would always lock, and make me feel like a jackass

Ya, you can replace shoes, adjust, etc etc....With as cheap as it is to rear disks I went ahead and did it, no more adjusting, they work really well. I did the conversion about 5 years ago and I haven't had any trouble. I installed a proportioning valve at the same time.

Did you have to do much adjusting with that proportioning valve? Pretty strait forward?

The Proportioning valve is adjusted with knob on it that can be turned by hand, when you mount it just make sure the knob is accessable, i mounted mine on the inside of the frame rail on the passenger side

Just go to a parking lot and do some panic stops, it helps to have somebody outside the vehicle watching in order to tell which end is locking up, adjust accordingly. It may take some more fine adjustments as you drive it longer, but it is pretty fricken simple.

Nice! I like the wheels. Do the rollcage next. I made it my first mod...

How tall is it with that roof rack?

Oh and flip yer bezel already :D

Yakima:

1.5 sets of 1A high rise towers (00104)
1.5 sets (3) 78 inch bars (00411)
Locks 10 cores (07210)
Load Warrior Cargo Basket (07070) w/ extension (07074)
2 sets of the ski carriers which are called the Lift ticket 6 (03063)
I also have two of the steelhead bike trays for summertime (02045)

I used to work for these guys (http://sportsrack.com/) in high school, so I got all of the stuff for a good deal. You may like a bigger basket (the megawarrior) if you need to carry more stuff, but the load warrior still does pretty well. Let me know if you have any other questions. I can hold eight snowboards or 12 pairs of skis, which is nice for the longer trips so you can bring the rock skis/boards and the nice stuff as well. :)

nice ride

good choice thats what i went with. they rub a little in the rear but not enough to do any thing about it
