Under the hood
1993, essentially intact with very few powertrain mods performed. I have an issue where it will randomly lose power while driving. Step on the gas pedal and....nothing. No response from the engine at all. It doesnt necessarily drop in RPM's to idle, but you get nothing from pressing the gas pedal. Usually it picks back up after a few seconds (sometimes minutes) and then acts like nothing ever happened. It first started many months ago, but happened only once every 5-10 drive cycles. It got increasingly frequent until now its almost undriveable - every single time I drive it, sometimes multiple times in one trip. It happens when the engine is cold or hot. When the outside temp is cold or hot.

What Ive done so far:
  • replaced the fuel pump and sock filter with Bosch
  • replaced the COR w/OEM
  • tested the fuel pump resistor (tested good per FSM), tried another used unit anyway and got the same result
  • replaced the fuel pump relay w/OEM
  • tested the TPS (tested good per FSM)
  • tested the fuel pressure regulator
  • removed the intake and cleaned it well, reinstalled with all OEM gaskets & seals
  • inspected the inside of the fuel tank - it was spotless, literally looked like it was brand new (fuel pump sock looked really clean, but I replaced it anyway)
  • I replaced the fuel filter w/OEM ~60k ago, but the tank is spotless so this doesn't seem worth replacing right now
I installed a pressure port on my fuel rail, and I get a steady ~48psi at idle. I dont have a way to test it while driving. The issue doesnt occur in the driveway, only while underway. Im so frustrated with this, any help at all would be really appreciated.
