Standard rub spot at full lock. Not convinced going from .75'' spacers to 1.00 or 1.25'' will clear it. It's not a terrible rub, more annoying than anything. Thoughts?

Edit: I guess I could grab Slee's KDSS reloc kit.

The relocation kit is what I would suggest. The truck looks great BTW, I am drooling over these pics right now, congrats!

@Union do you have the 1.25" spacer on hand to give it a shot? looks like the spacer might push it out just enough?

Beautiful rig!

I don’t. It wouldn’t take long to turn some from bora though. It’s been a point of discussion in my house whether I even want to push the tires out further or not. Based upon my limited knowledge the cons outweigh the benefits especially when I could install a slee relocation kit and alleviate the problem. Then the rest of it is just looks, but when you look at it, the stance looks like something toyota would do (tires fit inside wheel well) so there’s something to be appreciated by that.

Small Update:

I put in an order for 1.25'' Bora Spacers. I decided to give them a shot (this is all for looks). Also still waiting for the proper ARB camera relocation bracket. We're going to try and custom mount the camera in the center of the bumper. There appears to be ample space for it.

@Union take a look at this thread - it may help. He is running a 0 offset wheel, which is kind of related to a spacer install that will lower your offset and push your wheel out.

Thanks! Yea I currently have .75'' spacers on now. I think 1.25 will do the trick based on his 0 offset.

Still waiting on the 1.25'' spacers.

I took the truck out to the desert for some good times. Hit 55mph in the wash and sent it over some 1' drop offs (unintentionally), the truck completely soaked it up. Same goes for some unexpected whoops sections going about 25mph. I cringed expecting the worst (so did my passenger), but those cringes turned to laughter when nothing bottomed out and we kept rolling.

I found on the washboard roads that the compression setting of 10 was too stiff. I turned it down to 9 to see what that felt like and it was much improved but I could probably go lower. I'll need to find a setting where it's manageable on washboard roads but good enough to absorb larger impacts.

UPDATE: Truck's back!

I've had Atlas back for a few days now, getting a feel for how she drives. Overall, I'm very pleased and very thankful for this board and all the help that you guys have given to me and each other.

Some things to note:

1. Icon's install guide for the rear reservoir is not compatible with the Slee's sliders. So the shop mounted them further inboard of the sliders (see pic).

2. Tires still rub moderately at full lock. I will most likely be removing the Bora .75'' spacers and going with 1.00 or 1.25'' spacers. Not sure yet.

3. Speaking of tires, I feel like they may still be too small in width and diameter but time will tell.

4. Riding at 0 Setting on the Icon CDC Valves. I'll do that for a month and then set them to 10 and work down from there. The ride is very nice but I'm used to trucks so take that FWIW.

5. Finally, I adjusted the headlights 2 full turns clockwise and it appears that I'm not blinding oncoming traffic anymore.

I pulled off the Warn lanyard for the pics, but it's back on now.

Next up is a rear bumper from somewhere...

Love this build! Question: how did you run the wiring for your lightbar? I am at a crossroads on how to run my Onyx6 into my LC. Thanks!

Thank you! I ran the primary light bar wiring down the channel along the drivers side window. There's a nice gap to stuff the wire loom in. I also ran the switch wiring through the firewall grommet on the drivers side into a switch that fit into one of the blank OEM locations.

That's what OverlandDad (ccoorreeyy)did as well. It looks like I'll be doing the same thing. Did you uses double sided tape to hold the wiring in the channel? I want a secure the wire to something to limit "slap" while at highway speed.

In order to secure the wire loom into the channel, I used clear silicone sealant. I ran a long run of it in the channel and pressed in the wire loom. I then used a piece of wood as a straight edge and taped it in place to secure the wire loom in the channel until the sealant cured. I've taken it through touchless car washes, washed it by hand, driven on the highway for about 9 months now and zero issues.

So I recently moved up from a set of .75'' BORA spacers to 1.25''. The stance and look are much better but the front drivers tire still rubs on the KDSS (barely). It's such a minor issue that I am happy at this point.

Before I even got a chance to post pics, my wheel lock jumped a thread on the stud and in an attempt to try to impact it off, most likely broke the stud. It wiggles in place. I'm still waiting to hear back from BORA on if I can press in a replacement stud or if I need a new spacer. For the time being, i'm bumming around town with four good lugs.

I'll still need to drill off the wheel lock and all that fun mess. :bang:

After reaching out to a few of my local contacts and unsuccessfully figuring out to get them to help me with some tools etc, I succumbed and brought it to the dealer.

So right now they are doing the 20k mile service, pulling off the wheel lock and stud (hopefully), addressing the safety belt recall, and installing a compustar remote start system. We'll see what ends up happening with the stud soon!

Toyota pulled the lug off and fixed the problem. They installed my old .75" spacers while BORA sends me a new 1.25 spacer for free.

The remote start is pretty neat. Engine runs for 30 min at a time. Much better than the OEM setup and I can start it through an app on the phone as long as the truck is within ATT service range. The key fob is still the stock Toyota fob but the button push combo to remote start from the fob has changed.

Next up is the air compressor and recovery boards!

What are you doing with your old spacers? I might be in the market if you have no use.

Thanks for your interest! I've actually had about 5 people including the owner of motorsports tech ask about them Haha. I got a buddy with a Tundra that wants them.
