Nomis, you win... and Wimpy, like I said even a 'project' rig looks capable when it's sitting on such businesslike rubber. I like it!

Eshu Elegua, where did you get that second picture from? I'm quite certain this is my truck!!! I mean do you have any link to the picture???

Hey Eshu Elegua I was curious from where you got the second image that you posted since I'm pretty positive that that's my truck, back in stock form at least. Is there any link to the picture?

By the way anyone has any pic of a 40 on 35-10.5-15 boggers. I think that tha is the ultimate tall skinny!!!

Hey Ralph, I assume you are talking about the green rig. I would like to know what that color is. I'm a sucker for green and I love that shade??

A buddy of mine has those as his off road tires. I'd try to get a pic but he doesn't offroad much. I did ride w/him on some muddy hills and they hooked up. They look wicked, closest thing to the old bias ply buckshot, I've seen. I just wonder how flexible the side walls are w/so much rubber on them. They could be a good canidate for the tire groover. My concern is how they will do on rocks. I my try to borrow them to see how the perform.

Can you please ID the colour of it Ralph ? :bounce:

The paint color of my truck is very popular with the land cruiser crowd here in Lebanon. I can't really pin point what the color is, we just ask for land cruiser green, or olive to be more specific. i am pretty sure that it is not OEM.

Thanks Ralph. Would you mind confirming the actual code with your paint vendor please ? There are a number of folks here that love that colour. To confirm if it is your truck you can visit the "Official Colour Code" thread ;)

I did a little research and inquired about the 653 Olive Green in which I like and it is PPG 45228, so I will paint my trailer first to see if likey?

How about Michelin xzl's 9.00 x 16 = 36.3 x 10.5, 11.00 x 16 = 38 x 10.5. Heavy as all get out, but radials.

they are the ultimate in size...but...they do not flex at all ....way too stiff of a tire. IMO

the radial is a great plus...they wear like iron

I don't know mark, I had them before and they take about a mile to round out and balance well. They are loud but a very comfortable tire to drive on and they do not wear out overly fast as long as they are rotated.

I had a set of those on my HJ45 when I got it. Bad flat spots even in the summer time. In the winter I had to take it around the block a few times before the wife would even get in the truck with me!

I've looked at the LTBs several times over the years. Each time, friends who know me tell me I drive my LCs too much to ever be happy with them as threads on a daily driver.

OTOH, If it's for a trail rig...........WHO CARES!

And yeh, I wouldn't consider them with a rig running 3.70s.

Best

Mark A.
