well i new my tub was rusty......but i'm glad i have that rubber cargo mat in the back that keeps it moist under there so i dont have to look at the body mounts poking thru.:crybaby:

so for s***s 'n giggles i check out gozzards site for a price on a tub:

BODY TUB – 79 and Older. $3424.13 Cdn

and aqualu:

LANDCRUISER FJ40 BODIES: Canadian American
4005 1978 & Older
click to view more details $2,655.00

pretty amazing that the aqualu (aluminum) is cheaper than gozzards frp one.

not that im gonna get one anyways, unless my lottery ticket actually wins for a change.

not everything comes down to the dollar as well. i have installed both and the gozzard tub blow the aualu right out fo the water for weight savings, strength and fit and finish and being quiet to ride in...
down side of the Gozzad tub is the time issue, plan a year in advance and let Mike know that far in advance as well. he is extremely busy and fiberglass cruiser parts are a side line for him. the Aqualu that Tod builds are great for those trucks that have a good firewall and want a real quick install time. you can install a Aqualu 3/4 tub in a weekend. the Gozzard tub will take you a minimum of a month to install.

Tod and Mike both build an excellent product, you just need to know which fits your needs the best...

cheers
