I need help on a combination switch problem from RHD to LHD
well here it goes, I got a HDJ81V-RNPEX 1HDT RHD converted to LHD. The part number for the turn/combination switch assembly with cruise control is 84310-6A080 which the left lever would be the wiper control and the headlight would be at the right side.
I wanted to change the switch assembly to the LHD version and purchased from a gentleman here, but when the item arrived and tried to fit the assembly, then there was the problem, 1) mounting holes are not the same 2) steering tube of the assembly was larger. I also noticed that the cruise control lever switch was shorter and removable compared the one attached (RHD version) was fix with and longer. I did some research although it was not a dead end, there were a lot of part numbers and I cannot be sure if its the right one without pictures and measurements and just cannot play guessing game costs time and money for items to be shipped here.
Browsing to some sites selling parts, I came across one selling which I think is the LHD version with part number 64310-6A110-U, within the site there were tags of part number 84310-6A110, 84310-6A040.
Here are my questions
1. Is the part number 64310-6A110-U the direct LHD replacement for the 84310-6A080 (RHD)?
2. If if is, would there be a need for the connectors to be rewired or is it direct fit?
3. If its not, the what is the correct part number for the LHD version Switch assembly with cruise control?
