Turf-n-Surf 2016 (POLL CLOSED)

MAJOR CHANGE IN THE PLANS Y'ALL......

I just found out that the normal date for Turf-n-Surf (first full weekend of November) will not work for this year. There is a special event taking place on the beach and they have rented the ENTIRE beach.

This means we CANNOT do our annual Land Cruiser Beach Party on that weekend.(November 4-6th)

So that leaves us with a dilemma; Which days should we do it?

October 21-23rd?
October 28-30th? Halloween weekend?
November 11-13th? Veterans Day Weekend

Other options include a date not listed here, and cancelling TnS for this year.

The masses need to speak up. Tell me what would work for you and your family/friends to come play in the sand with us. This poll will stay up until the end of July.

Oct 28-30 is doable, but Nov 11-13th would be much preferable for my entire family. There's 9 cruisers in my family and relatives that attend each year.

I would take Nov 11-13 as well, I'm hoping the wife is not working that weekend. We missed last year and I won't this year and please no dying family members or close friends.

Oct 21-23. No interference with work. Nov 11-13 would be ok, but the later in the year we get the more dicey mother nature may be...not that 3 weeks will make much difference.

The Central Valley Crawlers just scheduled their Calico trip for Oct 21-23. Veterans Day weekend is nice, we sometimes have an extra day off.
