Something with your pyro is definitely not right.

Post turbo I'm looking for 400 degrees F to shut the engine off. On the highway I generally cruise around 800 degrees F. You should be a good 100-200 degrees hotter than my post turbo setup. Shoot: idling you should be at 500 or so after a bit of a hill, let alone while going up that hill.

Hmmm, well the rain is supposed to go away tomorrow, so I can get back out and screw around with it - I'm pretty sure the pyro probe is correctly fitted. I wonder if I just haven't turned up the fuel....enough :hhmm:

if you kick the accelerator to rev it does it blow black. Mine does and quite a bit. Doesn't really blow any under load while its boosting. I ran around 800f at highway speeds. Post turbo

No smoke, even heavily accelerating under load uphill... still need to turn up the fuel and see what that does to EGTs.

I have a pre turbo EGT probe. I run about 400-500 degrees around town with idles in between. Cruising on the highway (failry flat) at 50 (33x10x50 and 4.11 and h41) I get to around 750. If I bring it to 60, then I get to around 850-900. I also have an injector issue I think so that will make mine a bit higher as I am putting unburnt into the exhaust. I don't have my fuel turned up to max but I get 13PSI with my foot into it so I'm not changing a thing..
