Tundra wheels on 04 GX

I know it's been done before but just checking to see if I'll have any issues with the 17 inch Tundra wheel going on my GX. Finally found a set and would like to get them but want to make sure they will fit.

I'm running tundra wheels with 1.25" wheel spacers. No problems.

Correct. No spacers needed. I'm just running them because I wanted a wider stance.

Found some Tundra wheels on Craigslist for CHEAP! Had a few scratches but had a wheel guy touch them up. Finally had time this weekend to get the snorkel on this weekend too. Ready to try it out now!

Looks sweet! What size tires are you running and any rubbing?

285/70. Just a little rub at full lock but nothing a heat gun to the inner fender didn't fix.

I'm always on the hunt for those wheels, they look good on everything. I wish some would pop up around here

I found these on craigslist in Knoxville. They needed a little touch up work but nothing major. It was an older guy that had about 10 sets of Toyota wheels for sale. When I met him, he had a set of 20s with tires off a new 4Runner that were brand new. My guess he was getting them from a dealer? This was about 3 months ago but he may still be out there

While we are on the topic, any negative effects from the snorkel as far as daily driving?

just idiots swerving towards you trying to figure out what it is. I did a drop in k&n filter with it. really didn't notice a difference good or bad

No performance difference in mine, but I do have fewer air filters to replace (they stay a LOT cleaner)

Good to know! Ya my buddy has a built 3rd gen 4runner with a snorkel and it gets a lot of random attention

I did a magnaflow muffler a few months ago. Love the sound but the gear changes are awful and mileage has suffered at least 2 mpg. It will hang up and not go into overdrive for a while. If I can't figure it out I'm changing it back.

Really weird that your mpg took a hit when you added the magnaflow, what size muffler is it?
