AZ 80 series riddle: guess the truck ;p

disclaimer: I wouldn't know myself, I was way in front :flipoff2:

from the front

Did some looking around for Tonto, then took FR172 to our goal for the day.

FR1904 is on the closed list for travel management, had never run it, so now or never. It's just a bumpy, tight, sand wash, redundant to FR172, with less scenery, agree with the decision to close it. :meh:

A van that we met on the trail, this climb was too much, being spotted backwards to a turnaround spot.:hillbilly:

The last pic is on top, can see the start of the burn area in the distance.

The burn area is what was my favorite part of the trail. The north and east sides, where the largest trees were.:frown:

Driving along the burn area at the top was quite different than usual: when there were green trees on the driver's side, one tended not to notice how severe the drop-off really was (never mind that those 4" trees wouldn't hold a 3-ton vehicle...). But now, one can see down to the near bottom thru all the sticks, and it's more like "holy ****, we're driving next to the abyss..."

The pic is from the lunch spot before the burn area...
