How much to build another one of these? That looks great!

Unfortunately I no longer have access to the facilities I used to make these, hopefully I will sometime in the future.

Looks you have some interest brewing.

I'm not a huge fan of tube bumpers but I like it. Maybe offer an additional plate instead of a place for the lights? Unless that's a dog light that's needed.

Is it bolt on? That's a must have as I'm not comfortable cutting my cruiser up as others might be.

What's the cost come to? And what winches are supported? When does production start? Will it hold up to extraction?

Sorry for the noob questions; never had a tube bumper.

It required a little bit of cutting (no more than the slee blueberry). And Yes, it can survive winching, recoveries, tumbles down a mountain, and recoveries after the tumble. Not sure on the different winches but I will be trying to pry an M12000 in the soon but I think I will need to cut/modify some brackets behind the grille.

Honestly, I thing these are easier and quicker to build since there is hardly any grinding involved. I am however experienced in tube work due to building 3 buggy frames.

Any luck on the fab shops reproducing these for you? Do you a price point?

Hi Shaggy any more real world experience with this bumper? I am hoping to find a local shop to make one very similar for me.

I would if the front main hoop shouldn't extend out another inch or two for easier viewing and access to the winch line? I hate my arb Sahara bar as the winch line is almost entirely obstructed from view.

Thank you!

Damn that came out badass, I love it!!!

I had a local fabricator build a bumper very similar to what Shaggy built (with his blessing)

I've only done 2 or 3 pulls with it but it looks and works great! I had him pull out the front hoop about 2 inches for better visibility of the rope.

@SHAGGY101 what kind of headlights do you have in your LC? I had a rock come and put what looks like a bullet hole in my passenger side headlight lense so I’m interested in just going ahead and upgrading the whole assembly

Those are actually the stock headlights with an HID kit retrofitted. 2000UZJ had a huge thread on it a while back.

Glad to see you got this built! Looks great! Moving the top hoop out a couple of inches was a great idea. My warn zeon winch doesn't give me top access anyway.

I have not gotten the winch (10k) to full stall but I have done a few moderate pulls and slammed into a few things head on and on the side... fit my new cruiser like new!

BTW, the winch line (3/8" synthetic) snapped after my vehicle rolled about 3 times in the first pic. Definitely no doubt that it is solid! The rear bumper fared the same.
