Hey Guy's, it's been a while sense I've posted any new stuff. So I though It was time that I get back to work on the cruiser for the upcoming Wheeling weather. My first project that I'm starting on is a set of tube doors. Everything is 1.5" .120 HREW tubing, I guess I should buy some more dies! I'm not quite sure how I'm going to make the latches yet.

It's hard taking pictures in the shop it's a little cramped!

:smokin: yeah! I thought about making some tube doors but w/ a full pillar between I didn't think they'd look too  Yours'll look killer w/ the 1/2 pillar. Nice design - I like the compound bend on the rear to match the door curvature :D You could source some paddle type handles or smaller stainless one's. The lower hinges restrict the door swing too much for tube doors, so I'd look for some upper hinges instead.

Thanks! As for the lower hinges the stock ones are actually pretty nice, it keeps the doors from always closing/opening on its own. And the span that the door opens is good with me. On my commute home today I was thinking of different ways for the for the latch to work. For my application I need the latch to keep the door closed, and also be strong enough to keep its shape if a rock should somehow reach out and try to steal the door:grinpimp:. I have a couple ideas to try out!
