I am getting ready to replace the rockers on my FJ and wondered if anyone has made a "squaring" jig to hold the front and rear at the right position when you cut it out?

Currently I have the tub off of the frame, does anyone have a jig to hold the tub while I do the work?

Also, does anyone have measurements of the door openings, so I can make sure the are correct now?

Thanks,

Kelly

Thanks Rob.

I was reading a post on IH8MUD and thinking that I might just cut out the bad rusty section and weld in a new flat piece. The prior owner had bought new inner and outer rockers, however the only bad section is on the flat bottom part..... not on the door area. So, I am thinking about just replacing those sections.

If I do that, I don't have to worry about bracing the doorway or about the tub bending. I likely will set it back on the frame just to be sure nothing moves.

Any thoughts?
