I have a good stock of both sizes. I have sold over 500 and have shipped to Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. I am currently developing a 40" for a Mudder that has a 5 speed with twin doubler. So I do custom lengths and custom fittings. I like the banjo fitting on the transfer case because there isn't anything sticking out that brush can get caught on as easily. These hoses are heat resistant Teflon with a Stainless Steel braided hose around the Teflon Tubing giving the hose there strength. The PTFE tubing is more heat resistant than a rubber hose. Most rigs have the exhaust pipes close to the hose location. Do to the heat of the exhaust these are far superior to rubber hose. Send me a PM. I can send a new shift plate in the same box. I now have 29 different shift plates.

I just got my hose and shift plate! What a high quality product and the service was top notch! I am trying to get a hose to fit my 4runner with a 5speed and dual transfer case, so I ordered one for my 1977 FJ40 to see if the fittings would work with the low clearance of the transfer case crossmember. Shipmag has been very patient and helpful during the entire process! Hopefully we can make one work on the 1985 4runner! Thanks for all the help!!!

Does this version need the aluminum washer?? Also…torque until hand tight and then 1/4 turn more?

Be sure to tight snug and 1/3 turn more. Do not over tighten you'll strip the threads on either the case or banjo bolt, as there are not many threads engaged and also its an o-ring not a crush washer. We went to o-rings per vendors direction so you can reuse the seal. A crush washer is limited to a few re-tightens. With the o-ring it can be used many times so long as you don't over tighten the banjo bolt.

Actually, I believe this answered my question. No washer needed…and 1/3 of a turn after snug.

the older hoses used a one
Time crush washer when did you order that hose. I haven't used crush washer in a long time. The 1/3 turn after snug is for the sandwiched prong between two washers. Crush washers are suppose to be one time but all of us reuse them with an occasional drip. I do have prong types for sale. I can't even remember the price because I have only sold one set several years ago. I'll have to ask the vendor what the current price is to get them? I'll ask tomorrow when they open.

One of you mudders sent me a money order but no other info. It was for a special length. I accidentally deleted the message in mud and don't have any information to

Does this work if the oil is migrating from the transmission to transfer case?
Probably not. I don't have that problem. Most off the others have the opposite problem. Your the 4th out of 550 that has that problem. Don't know the solution.

For those of you who have purchased a hose and are happy with it please tell other landcruiser owners and share your satisfaction. Word of mouth is the only advertising I do to sell these hose's. I currently have both sizes in stock.

I have just placed another order be here in a week or so. I do still have 2 ea of the 17.5" shipping went up by isps from $11.00 to $11.70. I don't know what the new price of the hoses will be, if any change at all in price. My vendor ships the hoses to me via fedex ground. FedEx announced rates went up 5.9%. I won't know the final price per hose until I get my invoice from the vendor. Prices have increased just dont know until I get the invoice.

Got the invoice on the new set of hoses. Fed ex prices did go up so my per hose cost went up. The 12.75" hose is $90.00 plus $12.10 shipping in USA. Cost for 17.5" is $92.00 plus $12,10 for shipping. If you needing shipment to anywhere outside of USA please contact me for A shippingQuote. And if you in Canada please try and find a friend in USA to ship it to.
Shipping to Canada is close To three times the cost Within USA.

hi @shipmag, are you still selling these? and what do you have in stock? I haven't measured but i'm running into this problem now and would like to order one of your hoses if you're still selling them.

I have two sizes I keep in stock. 12.75" and a 17.5. If you need I can order special lengths if your drive isn't standard. Below is a canned statement.

I know it’s a pain to get down and measure. But with my experience you have to measure. You don’t know what a po did before you. They even tap the holes to 1/2 npt. If they did I have a solution to that also. You have to buy a 1/2 male npt to 18x1.5 mm female adapter either on amazon or ebay. Banjo fittings are only straight threads. NPT wont seal. Measure and let me know what size you need. I have both 12.75” and 17.5” in stock. The hoses come with o-ring type sandwich washer seals not the old crush washer. Snug then one third turn more. You need to measure from fill plug of the transmission to the fill plug of the transfer case. Use a stiff wire to simulate the route. Center of plug to center of lug.

It will be either a 12.75” or a 17.5”. The 12.75" is $90.00 + the shipping for USA it's $12.65. For the 17.5" the cost is $92.00 plus shipping in the USA is $12.10
