Just looking at his rig, I worry about the way he's got his gas cans strapped to the top of his rack. I wouldn't go across Manhattan with them like that, let alone across countries. ...and I'd get better cans!

Anyway, good luck to him, I'll follow his blog, and have to live vicariously through his adventures.

Dan.

It wasn't a Landcruiser, but then again I suppose it earned the title...and it is a Toyota:

Blog = Oil and Water Project & upper site =
Oil + Water - The Movie - The Adventure.

The blog opens at the conclusion of the adventure, so ya gotta go back a few months when they arrive & start in Alaska...

I hope this guy knows about MUD so he can get help from local cruiser heads along his journey.

On his blog, he lists IH8MUD as a link, anyone aware of his 'MUD handle if he has one?

...yah, and that string? I didn't notice that before, tell me he's done better than that!? Right battery though and from the looks of his other work, I gotta think that's temporary, but I wouldn't even have posted a pic of that, holy cow!

edit: Found out his handle is 'nicolasrapp', he returned an e-mail I sent, looks like he's really gonna try this! Wish him lots of luck, he's gonna need it!

I think he is just anal retentive enough to tie down the handle on the battery. I hope! I must admit I am completely inturiged by this adventure, and I find myself wishing I were him. Although I couldent pull this off by a long shot, I really want to!
