I'll stay with wheel speed sensor(s) but that is only a bit more than a shot in the dark.

I'm trying to justify the cost of preventative maintenance to replace mine but all 4 at once is a chunk of change.

I suppose it's possible that a faulty sensor might affect the trans - I don't know exactly how or why admittedly- but how would that have several emissions monitors be switched to "not ready" ?

I've had case after case. Of shorts, causing issues. Moisture, failed wire housing block seals, rodent chew, bad wire repairs, solenoids, sensors, etc. Resulting in either intermitted or sustained issues. I've found they, don't just go away. I pray yours is exception and gone for good.

Make sure to make mental notes, of more or less moisture, higher or lower temperatures your 100 subjected to. Also type of driving i.e. rough road, city, HWY. If condition returns, they may yield clues.

^ good (if a bit of a downer) point!
