OK, so I'm very mad as I'm writing this. Just got back from a little offroad adventure, nothing complicated/intense at all. Just a path, with a few smaller rut-holes with mud. So, I make the 30 min drive home, turning almost onto my street where I live, and the trans slips out of gear. :bang::bang::bang::bang:. Pretty sure its the output shaft that sheared, the annoying part is that I JUST got the trans replaced for the same damn problem, slipping out of gear and whatnot. Got a used trans from Cruiserparts.net. Got it shipped here and installed at the stealership. Luckily I still have the free 90 day warranty Cruiserparts supplies. Could anyone locally help me out if even possible? Replace output shaft (if possible) something? anything?
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

any luck maybe calling dealership to see if that is the case? Probably not, but couldn't hurt right?

If it isn't sheared like you think then you are golden. If it is...um... damn man that sucks! Wish i could be more help. Kansas is a bit of a drive... hehehe

Good luck!

Is it the shaft that sheared or did the gear that provides the input to the Tcase spin on the shaft? Pull the side cover on the Tcase and look, if the splines were SUPER worn on the transmission shaft the the common wear area on the FJ62 is the shaft.. There is an aftermarket shaft that uses the PTO spacer to engage the splines on the output shaft giving a new area to bite on.
