Guys I am looking at a trailer in Denver and was wondering the best way to get it to Graceland. It is an adventure type trailer that is light. I am not wanting to drive out there myself and turn around and drive back and put all those miles on my cars, so was wondering about options. I figured somebody here is way smarter and experienced in this type of stuff.

I could always rent a car but I have never rented a car that requires a hitch to tow something so not sure how to do that.

If I rented a truck I could make a run to slee and pic up a bunch of stuff that you guys are buying for your MOAB run or for your 80s and 100s.

Or somebody going skiing during spring break could haul it back for me. ;)

Any ideas would be nice. I can fly to denver for free so I am trying to keep this a one way trip.

Flew over MOAB today and sure looked nice from FL380.

Thanks Mike

That option is probably out. I know from my days at Enterprise that towing is a no no.

Look into getting it piggy backed LTL. I know nothing about uship but I bet it's a service that does that for you.

Good luck.

It might be a no no but just rent a vehicle that you can put a ball on the bumper and drive straight to autozone. Not that I ever have hint hint...... The rental co will even let you check the cars or vans or SUV they have to suit your needs.....lol

Yeah! and tow a trailer half way across the US! screw renters insurance, or insurance all together... cause if you have an accident, neither will pay...

You have older rigs... I'm missing why you won't drive them. mileage? really?

Might drive out there, but my logic is since they
Are high mileage they don't have as many miles left.
Plus I fly free and Memphis to Denver is all uphill
And boring.

Just looked at trailer and agreed on price. Now just need a RTT.

How big is the trailer? I might have a route for you to go but I don't know about loading a trailer in an 18 wheeler. I never had to get one transported.

There is a tiny chance I may be buying a truck that's at the bottom of the mountain before Denver. It wouldn't be any time real soon though; likely just before GSMTR some time. Haven't worked anything out but I'd either drive the whole way or, if I can work it out, meet the guy in the middle somewhere. So, either way, I may be able to work out a pick up for you too depending on how long you can wait and if I can find a big enough trailer for my truck and your trailer.

I might be going out there around March 22 for a few days to ski. If thats not too long to wait let me know, I could probably haul it back
